Combine one comic store, one attractive sassy girl, one slob, one sarcastic bitch, one weirdo owner, and lastly a guy with some serious social anxiety and you’ll get The Variants. This web series has been running since 2009 and is at episode 7 now, but better late then never I can vouch for it’s entertainment value.
Clearly DIY web TV is now a force to be reckoned with – clearly visible with the success of The Guild and Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog – and now I feel we can add The Variants in that class as well.
