As I type this, Stone Temple Pilots are playing just down the road on the Canadian leg of their tour, which will end in Halifax tomorrow night. And then it’ll end.
According to their website “STP are postponing the December and January dates until next year so the band can finish their highly anticipated record which will be coming out in the early spring of next year.”
All US dates have been postponed. I bet those US ticket holders are hoping tis album will be worth it.
Halifax – enjoy it, looks like we just made the cut. I’ll be interested in hearing this new album.
Why wasn’t I there? Well I had no interest in reliving high school, and New Moon fever hit me and I felt I must watch it to review it for you guys, which will happen once I see it again – my brain forced itself into a coma to protect itself about 45 minutes into the film. I’ll be taking some experimental drugs to get me through the second attempt.

If their concert monday night is a taste of what’s to come from them, I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve seen a lot bands and it is in my top 5. They were so tight and his vocals were spot on perfect the vibe was unbelievable. 2 days later and I’m still riding th high.
